Believe....

I have struggled for awhile in my crossstitching hobby... one reason was due to eye problems - have sorted that out but slowly, finally adjusted to wearing eyeglasses with progressive lenses; second reason was due to super busy workload - and that, too have been sorted out!

So, now... back to my xstitching! Finally after a long while I am crossstitching again! (happy dance for me) Have organized all my xstitch stash and the xstitch bug is back! I've pulled out my "Believe" project (have been ages since I last laid my hands on it) ...now fully "believing" that I can have it finished - sooner or later. Just loved the message I've read in the forum.. " every single stitch puts you closer to the finish!"

Here is my progress so far... after the loooooooong wait.

...and as a bonus... I have made progress also to my Lizzie Kate's "Living with Charm" project!

... promise to post more frequently from now on... i'm happy again to be ME! :-D Happy stitching everyone!

Again.... I'm back after a long while... and here's something new...

I've updated my blog!  Now, you can browse on some of my stitched projects - butterflies and Margaret Sherry designs. They are still a work-in-process as I would still add individual descriptions on each one. I would still be adding pages of other projects that I've done... so watch out for it!

Something new...

Hello 2014!

I really would like to finish a lot of projects this year... last year have been my most unproductive year and have only finished 2 projects!  That is why I would like to make up for it this year.

I have things NEW this year... and I am really happy with them...!
First, I have my crossstitch corner! :-D... It's not really all that I wanted... I still want a drawer cabinet and some other things. But for now... it's all fine with me. Here are some pics...

New Projects 2014

Happy New Year!  

I'll still be working on with my WIPs of 2013, especially the butterflies  . For this year, I'll be working on new projects with varied designs but of course, butterflies will still be my forever favorite! 

I have updated my Stitching Journal and realized that I have made a total of 126 finished projects (small & large ones) from 1998 to present!  I've only finished 2 projects last year (my most unproductive year)... mainly because I had eye concerns and have been forced to use progressive lenses. I do hope to make up for it this year amidst household chores and office works.  

And so, here it goes:

My first finish of the year 2014 - "Follow your Dreams"




...and I have started a new project to start off the year... "Psalm 23"... it's a 19th century style sampler with traditional motifs and it's my first scriptural sampler project!

My Stiching Journal

Hi, happy new year! 

I have started a stitching journal since 2008. I have it in four parts:

1. My Finished Projects 
A list of all my finished projects since 1998 (photos are in a separate pic album in my external hard drive).
2. My Xstitch Stash
A record of all additional new stash I bought from 2008. I have attached pics of my previous stash prior to 2008.
3. Links to Xstitch Sites
A list of crossstitch sites with freebies. I indicate types of designs featured in each site. I use 1 page per site.
4. My Xstitch WIPs
A record of my current WIPs. I used 1 page for each project. This is were I record the details of each project: designer, size, fabric used, where it came from, whom i gave it for, date started, date finished, etc....
5. My Xstitch Friends
A record of all my friends who shared same interests with mine... friends who sent me xstitch gifts so I will be forever thankful...

Thankful for all the countless blessings to me & my family!
As 2013 have been a hard year... on my personal life... family life... work-related issues.... financial ones...I still am counting my blessings and am really thankful that it keeps pouring in despite my shortcomings.

So... let us welcome the new year 2014 with hopeful hearts.... strong faith...renewed energy.... clear minds... determined spirits!
